A little piece of me...

My passion is to make beautiful one-of-a-kind pieces that are well-made, stylish, eye-catching and wearable. In a style that is organic and largely inspired by nature. Using recycled silver and gold. Exploring textures.

My Jewellery collections are designed carry deep heartfelt meaning. I have collected and shells and sand from favourite beaches, local cuttlefish bones and put my entire being into an individual setting...

Inspired By Nature

Inspired largely by Nature, my work focuses on natural, organic forms.

I work with a variety of techniques but have a particular affinity for casting: melting metal until it is molten and pouring it into hand-carved moulds. The three main casting techniques I use are:

Cuttlefish Casting – an ancient method using moulds carved from cuttlefish bones, most of which I collect from a local beach. The bones give my pieces a beautiful, distinctive striated texture.Sandcasting – where I carve the moulds directly into sand, creating another unique, earthy surface.

Lost Wax Casting – for which I hand-carve a model in wax before sending it to a professional caster to be realised in precious metal.I often incorporate raw stones such as sapphires and rubies, casting them in place while the metal is still molten, or I finish pieces with gold granules.

I especially love the elemental quality of these untouched stones.

I work exclusively in recycled silver and gold and avoid mass production. Most pieces are entirely one-of-a-kind or produced in very small series. My hope is that each one will be treasured by its wearer as much as I enjoyed making it.
